This 24 month (2 year) course is nationally recognised and has been contextualised to meet the values of Christianity and reflects the role of Christian counsellors who work with clients on personal and psychological issues using established counselling modalities. They use communication, micro-counselling and interviewing skills and draw on varied counselling therapies to assist clients. At this level, the counsellor will be working in defined and supported counselling roles in established agencies rather than in independent practice. This course is delivered and assessed in Korean.
Learn moreThis 12 month course will equip lay people for community work and leadership/ministry in a local church/ church workplace, as well as enhance personal growth. The 11237NAT Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology course is a nationally recognised qualification. There are nine units of competency: three core units on biblical knowledge, interpretation and core beliefs, and; six elective units on scripture, theology, ministry and formation. This course is delivered and assessed in Korean.
Learn moreThis 18 month (1 year 6 month) course is nationally recognised qualification that reflects the role of chaplains and/or pastoral and spiritual care workers who provide ongoing ethical, moral and spiritual support to clients using a person-centred approach. Workers operate within the guidelines and practices of their organisation and within the professional and ethical standards of their relevant association. The development of self-awareness and identity underpin effective work in pastoral and spiritual care and are developed over time, through professionally supervised practice and mentoring.
Work may take place in a range of contexts, including schools, community outreach and local churches in a paid or volunteer capacity. Work in these roles may also require commissioning from a recognised religious institution. This course is delivered and assessed in Korean.
This 12 month course is designed to equip you for active ministry through mission placement, church planting and ministry in a local church. It also aims to assist you to grow in wisdom, grace and maturity, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live out your God-given calling and grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
The 11238NAT Diploma of Christian Ministry and Theology course is a nationally recognised qualification. There are 10 units of competency: two core units on biblical knowledge, and interpretation and core beliefs, and; eight elective units, including church history, leadership, ministry, and world religions. This course is delivered and assessed in Korean.
