Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

This unit explains the skills and knowledge you need to provide first aid to infants and children, following guidelines from the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other leading Australian clinical bodies. It’s designed for people working in education and care settings who may need to respond to first aid emergencies, including asthma and anaphylaxis. This includes early childhood educators as well as those working with school-age children in outside school hours care and vacation programs.

This unit of competency meets the ACECQA accreditation requirements in First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma.
