Snorkel Guide careers

A Snorkel Guide leads groups on underwater tours throughout Australia’s diverse marine environments. You might work for a reef tour operator, a coastal resort or an outdoor education centre. Focusing on water safety and marine conservation, you’ll prepare educational briefings to encourage guest engagement and introduce them to the skills they will need to explore the ocean safely.

Snorkel Guides play an important role in the marine tourism industry. You’ll need to be fit and observant and be able to communicate easily with people of all ages. You’ll liaise with boat captains and safety officers to ensure guests are swimming confidently and getting the assistance they need.
