Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership

If you’re working as a recreation guide, set up to a senior supervisory role with the SIS40619 Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership. This nationally recognised qualification teaches a mix of leadership, planning, and technical skills. The course covers: planning outdoor activity sessions, risk identification and group safety, operating communication systems and equipment, interpreting weather and environmental conditions, coordinating emergency responses, carrying out search and rescue. The course also delivers advanced technical skills in the following specialty areas: abseiling, bushwalking, canyoning, challenge course, climbing, canoeing and white water rafting, caving, and much more.
