Certificate IV in Train Driving

Become a qualified train driver with the TLI42615 Certificate IV in Train Driving. This nationally recognised qualification will teach you how to drive a range of electric passenger trains, locomotives and heavy haul freight trains. The course covers: railway awareness and safety fundamentals, responding to signals and trackside signs, operating a train within a range of route conditions, using communication systems, fatigue management, emergency responses, and other technical skills. Choose electives that support a train driving specialisation: freight, urban electric, country passenger, steam locomotive, and heritage motor power trains.
