This qualification is suited to those working as administrators and project officers. In this role, individuals use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. This course is suitable for those who have completed BSB30120 Certificate III in Business or relevant qualifications with vocational experience in a range of environments providing administrative or operational support to individuals or team but no formal business qualification.​

Lessons are delivered face-to-face with a self-study online component, and include a range of methods, practical tasks and activities. Assessments are conducted via observation, demonstration, case study, practical tasks, projects and a portfolio.
