Most of these children and young people are vulnerable and have experienced significant trauma and rely on the expertise of support workers who know and understand Trauma Informed Practice.
Melbourne Polytechnic have been delivering this program since 2017 when the Minimum Qualification Strategy for Residential Care Workers in Victoria was released.
