The Bachelor of Arts honours year is both a preparation for postgraduate study and a capstone to an undergraduate degree. Honours can culminate your formal education, hone your research abilities, and helps you to develop personal and professional skills. This course may be suitable for undergraduate students with one major. Honours can also be the first step on a path to a career as an academic or professional researcher.
History Honours

The honours year gives you a taste of history as a vocation. In seminar work, you will grapple with problems in the theory and practice of history; the thesis gives you the experience of formulating a significant historical problem and writing a substantial piece of original research.
