The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education prepares graduates for employment in the pre-primary, early childhood education sector including kindergartens, preschools and early learning centres.
Accredited by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Authority (ACECQA), students study early childhood cognitive, social and physical development along with education theory and curriculum development in an historical context. Classroom management techniques as well as skills in teaching literacy and numeracy are taught in line with national and state early learning frameworks (EYLF and VEYLDF).
Industry placement units are embedded into the course, providing consistent opportunities for students to implement and develop their practical skills.

입학 요건
School Leavers
- Senior secondary qualification (VCE or equivalent);
- One or more years of full-time or part-time equivalent post-secondary school studies; or
- Completion of a post-secondary school qualification
Mature Aged
Prospective students must have completed both the following:
- Satisfactory completion of the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (Written English);
- Satisfactory completion of the Special Tertiary Admissions Test; (Multiple Choice component)
Prospective students must also have completed at least one of the following:
- An Australian Diploma (or higher);
- A partial or full Australian Degree; or
- Have evidence of relevant employment experience with accompanying written statement by the employer(s).
International Students
- Year 12 Certificate or equivalent international qualification; and
One of the following English Language Requirements:
- An Australian Diploma
- 6.5 in IELTS (with no band less than 6.0)
- Any other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency (e.g. TOEFL, PTE); or
- Completion of an approved English foundation course
Additional Requirements
Additional Requirements For admission to courses that include Work Integrated Learning (WIL) or Professional Experience: All applicants must have a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a Police Check (PC).
