You'll gain a deeper understanding of research theory, design and practice principles introduced in your undergraduate degree. You'll study advanced issues in health and complete tailored health research methodology subjects. To apply your research knowledge and skills, you'll undertake an original research project under the supervision of La Trobe's expert staff to produce evidence-based solutions.
By graduating with Honours, you'll not only gain an edge in an increasingly competitive job market, you'll also have the opportunity to advance to further coursework or research at Master's level or, for high achievers, direct entry into a PhD.

About La Trobe University
La Trobe is a university known for making a positive difference in the lives of our students, partners and communities. We will become an even more valued and relevant university because of the way we respond to their needs in this time of great local and national crisis.
Our aim is to emerge as a more resilient, future-focused and necessarily more efficient institution that will thrive in a post-COVID world by being more sharply focused on the needs of our community, and by playing to our strengths in teaching and research.
