Medical laboratory scientists perform scientific investigations on samples from people and animals using high-tech equipment. They perform and analyse tests to monitor general health, diagnose conditions like infectious diseases and cancer, and see how treatments are working.
This course is designed to give you a clear path to becoming a medical laboratory scientist and to meet the eligibility requirements for membership into the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists.
The Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science is also a great option if you’re looking for a career in medicine or research and provides a strong pathway to postgraduate study.
