The Specialist Major in Biological Science allows students the opportunity to gain a depth of knowledge in biological sciences, including an understanding of various disease states, as well as metabolic processes and genetic principles underlying human function. Within the major, students can also tailor 6 cp of unit(s) that are aligned to their scientific interests.

You must meet ONE of the following requirements:
Completed Year 12 (ATAR optional) with ATAR score 60.00 or equivalent.
Admission to this course is based on an entrance rank. A rank can be achieved by the following means: Year 12 ATAR, other Australian Qualification, work experience, overseas qualification.
Assumed knowledge
Year 12 Biology (T)/Human Biology (T), Chemistry (T) and Mathematical Methods (T) or equivalent.
English language requirements
An IELTS Academic score of 6.0 overall, with no band score below 6.0 (or equivalent).
