With an increasing demand for Early Childhood Educators across Victoria, the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is a stepping stone into the industry. No previous experience is required for this course, meaning it is ideal for individuals who are passionate about child development, and have a desire to make a difference in a child's life.
Prospective students must pride themselves on being empathetic, patient, and accountable, with the ability to problem-solve and engage with adults. They may work independently or under the guidance of others, though in some contexts that guidance may not be on-site. Early childhood educators work in long daycare centres, family daycare, pre-schools, or kindergartens.
