A nationally recognised qualification which will see you gain the skills required to work in a rewarding career, as an aged care worker. The aged care industry is expanding and jobs are in high demand. Experience great job satisfaction as you support elderly people to maintain independence and achieve their personal goals in a residential setting.

This qualification reflects the role of support workers in the community and/or residential setting following an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require assistance due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical, and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.
