This qualification develops the knowledge and skills for workers to provide services to clients in regard to mental health issues. They can provide counselling, referral, advocacy and education/health promotion services. It requires high level specialist knowledge, skills and competencies especially in regard to laws affecting clients, the range of services available to them and health issues related to mental health.

- Have completed CHC43315 Certificate in Mental Health or equivalent; or
- Are currently working in the industry.
- Provide COVID-19 Full Vaccination certificate.
- Be of Aboriginal or/Torres Strait Islander Decent
- Resident of WA
