This course is designed to provide management knowledge which can be tailored to fit students' needs. It is designed to provide practising engineers with extended knowledge beyond their first degree and to update knowledge and skills in recent advances in engineering management.

Experience a blend of learning methods, including seminars, and collaborative project work, ensuring a dynamic and interactive learning environment. This approach fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for career advancement.

Many working engineers and technologists do not have the time to commit to a master's course. However, the demand for management knowledge among engineers is increasing.

You must meet ALL of the following requirements:

IELTS score of 6.50 or TOEFL iBT score of 79.00 or PTE score of 58.00 or its equivalent.

Applicants must have one of the following:
• Completed Australian master’s or doctoral degree, or overseas equivalent, in any field of study
OR
• Completed Australian bachelor's degree, graduate diploma or graduate certificate, or overseas equivalent, in any field of study with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included)
OR
• Completed Australian associate degree (AQF 6), or overseas equivalent, in any field of study with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included) AND A minimum of 2 years full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant post-secondary professional experience
OR
• Completed Australian advanced diploma (AQF 6) or diploma (AQF 5) or New Zealand technical and vocational NQF Levels 5-7, or overseas equivalent, in any field of study AND A minimum of 2 years full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant post-secondary professional experience

Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification; OR
Submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies.

It is a requirement that the bachelor's degree was completed with no more than 25 per cent of subjects failed.

Applicants who do not satisfy the above academic requirements may be considered on one of the following:

Completed Associate Diploma and RATE Diploma; OR
Completed TAFE/AQF Advanced Diploma or Diploma (or overseas equivalent); OR
New Zealand technical and vocational NQF Level 5-7

AND

Minimum two years' full-time equivalent related work experience post completion of study;
Submission of resume and proof of work experience.
