This course provides participants with the essential practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to safely perform dogging tasks. Students will learn how to plan for jobs, select and inspect lifting equipment (such as chains, synthetic slings, and FSWR), prepare the site, and communicate effectively with crane operators using whistles and hand signals. The training focuses on hazard identification and risk control to ensure safety in construction, manufacturing, and logistics environments. Successful completion results in a Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment and a Notice of Satisfactory Assessment (NOA), which is used to apply for a WorkSafe HRW Licence (code DG).
