Advanced Diploma of Forensic Investigation
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Advanced Diploma of Forensic Investigation provides students with advanced techniques to manage complex forensic investigations. It covers the core sciences related to forensic investigation and procedures to comply with forensic evidence analysis. Students will develop high level skills in managing forensic investigations, communicating, coordinating appropriate equipment and services and presenting forensic opinion and expert testimony.
This is a restricted Police qualification, students must be employed by an Australian Police Service to enrol.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Must be currently employed by an Australian Police Service and be nominated by the relevant jurisdictional forensic section within that State/Territory; AND
- demonstrate successful completion of the Diploma of Forensic Investigation or equivalent OR
- demonstrate successful completion of a degree, associate degree or advanced diploma or Diploma of Public Safety (Policing) or equivalent OR
- able to demonstrate relevant knowledge and skills to undertake vocational education and training at the advanced diploma level.
