Certificate II in Maritime Operations (Coxswain Grade 1 Near Coastal)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This qualification is designed for those currently employed or seeking work within the maritime and seafood industries. It provides the necessary skills to command commercial vessels up to 12 metres in length. This includes operating craft with unlimited outboard power or inboard engines up to 500kW. Graduates are authorised to carry passengers inshore or within three nautical miles of a parent vessel.
