CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

This course prepares participants for roles in Early Childhood Education and Care in Australia’s regulated services. Its focus is on promoting children’s well-being and nurturing their development within approved learning frameworks.

Participants will harness a variety of advanced skills and insights, exercising discretion and judgement within the bounds of set policies and procedures. While they can work autonomously, some settings might require guidance, which may not always be directly on-site.

Suitable for those aspiring to work in settings like Early Learning Centres, Family Day Care, Preschools, or Kindergartens.

To successfully earn this qualification, participants must complete a minimum of 160 hours of hands-on experience in a regulated children’s education and care service in Australia. These hours can be distributed across the various units of competency that require workplace experience.
