Certificate IV in Community Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Certificate IV in Community Services is designed for those who are passionate about working to support others in the communities in which they live. Building on your industry experience, this course will take you from the foundations of community services, through to more advanced practices and leadership skills. You will learn how to design and deliver person-centred services across a range of services including mental health, disability and child and youth services and provide support, advocacy or interventions to individual persons, groups and communities.
This course is particularly suited to those currently working in the Community Services sector who want to gain the advanced skills to further their professional and career development. At this level, workers may be autonomous with limited responsibility within established parameters and may supervise others. Work may take place in a range of community service, case work or case management contexts.
