METS trainers will inspire you in building a career where you can make a difference in people’s lives. Learn to work effectively in a range of community settings and client homes, empowering people with disabilities to reach their full potential.
This nationally-recognised course includes 7 core and 3 electives. Further develop your knowledge and skills to work without direct supervision and to supervise and/or coordinate a small team in. Content will include:
- Facilitating the empowerment of people with disability
- Provide person-centred services to people with disability with complex needs
- Developing and Providing Individualised Support
- Facilitating Community Inclusion and Participation
- Manage legal and ethical compliance.
Students must have computer literacy and literacy skills and be above the age of 16 to enrol. Students under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardians’ permission to enrol.
