Successful completion of this qualification will provide individuals with a broad range of specialised knowledge and skills in varied contexts to undertake manager and technical consulting roles in the arboriculture industry and as a pathway for further learning required for specialist technical consulting roles in the industry. Students will gain in-depth knowledge on tree identification, diagnosing tree disorders & defects and how to use this knowledge to prepare arborist reports for clients.

- Pre-requisite units: AHCARB314 implement a tree maintenance program AHCARB323 Identify trees AHCARB316 Undertake pruning operations Can be completed as skillset - AHCSS00104 Introduction to arboriculture skillset
- Participants must have sufficient knowledge of the English language to perform work safely.
- Students must have a working knowledge of a Microsoft Word as well as basic knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel. Other more extensive programs will be introduced through the course - such as CAD programs and QGIS.
