Diploma of Community Services
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services course is a nationally recognised qualification which will prepare you to manage, co-ordinate and/or deliver person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities. On completion of this course, you will have developed specialised skills in community services to provide direct support to individuals or groups of individuals. You will also have the skills and knowledge to supervise other workers and volunteers.
To enrol in this course you must be working (voluntary or paid employment) in a community services organisation to ensure you fulfil the 200 hour requirement and to address the practical criteria of each unit of competency.

Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.
Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
As part of your application, you will be asked to complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills evaluation to demonstrate that you can apply yourself to this level of study (if you have evidence of prior study this evaluation may be waived) and a Pre-Enrolment interview (online) prior to enrolment to demonstrate that you can apply yourself to the Diploma level of study, which will be arranged upon receipt of your complete application.
NTS recommends that you have either completed a Certificate IV in Community Services or have industry experience in working in the community.
