Diploma of Community Services

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Welcome to Youth Off The Streets, a Registered Training Organisation(RTO #41450). We are industry experts that live and breathe community services every day - we bring decades of real-world experience supporting vulnerable and at-risk young people through our schools, housing programs, outreach and youth justice initiatives.

At Youth Off The Streets, completing your CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services isn’t just about getting qualified - it’s about becoming part of the frontline movement changing people's lives. The course is designed for people who are passionate about supporting people in the community to achieve their potential.

All our training is grounded in trauma-informed practice and you will receive expert support from experienced trainers.

We offer two options for the CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services:

  • A 12-week Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway, which allows you to turn your experience into a nationally recognised qualification
  • A 12-month full qualification, which is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field of community services

Both options are self-directed and online and you can complete them from anywhere at your own pace. However, we recommend spending 10-15 hours on coursework and submitting 1-3 assessments per week.

Youth Off The Streets provides work placement opportunities for participants enrolled in this course. Two hundred hours of work placement are an essential course component, offering learners the chance to gain hands-on experience in real-world community services settings.

Join us at Youth Off The Streets and embark on a transformative journey towards becoming a skilled and compassionate community services worker. Together, we can empower others in our community.
