Diploma of Counselling

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

Our CHC51015 Diploma of Counselling prepares learners for a wide range of professional counselling roles where compassionate practice, clear ethical guidance, and strong interpersonal communication contribute to positive outcomes for individuals and families.

This nationally recognised qualification reflects the real needs of counselling work across healthcare services, community services, and private practice environments. Learners will develop the ability to build safe and supportive therapeutic relationships, apply recognised counselling theories, assist clients through complex situations, and work within professional legal and ethical standards.

This course provides learners with the knowledge and confidence required to work in professional counselling roles and to apply for registration with the Australian Counselling Association. Registration with the Australian Counselling Association is assessed and determined by an independent third party, and Hader Institute of Education has no influence over the outcome of this decision.
