This course reflects the role of an educator who is responsible for the planning, implementing and management of programs in early childhood education and care services in accordance with legislative requirements and national quality standards. Participants will learn how to document, plan and evaluate children’s play, with a focus on inclusion, mentoring, management and working in a culturally diverse environment.
Upon completion of the Diploma, participants will become qualified to supervise other staff and volunteers. Participants will be equipped with the necessary skills to plan, implement and manage programs in early childhood services (0-12 years) in accordance with licensing, quality assurance and duty of care requirements.
