Pursue a meaningful career in allied health with a nationally recognised qualification. A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance and Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Physiotherapy) will give you the practical skills and knowledge needed to work in the role of an allied health assistant to health professionals. This dual qualification allows you the opportunity to streamline your learning experience and specialise in physiotherapy without having to do additional practical work hours.
Special Conditions
Mandatory work placement includes 120 hours of practical work placement with a qualified allied health professional. Students may need to undertake a Working with Children check to meet individual work placement employer requirements. We will assist you in organising a work placement location of your choosing.
Work Placement
When undertaking both qualifications, the student must complete at least 120 hours of practical placement. Please note if you undertake these qualifications separately, you will be required to complete 80 hours in the Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance and a further 120 hours in the Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.

This is a nationally recognised course delivered by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). RTOs are strictly regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). This guarantees you will be studying a quality-assured and nationally recognised qualification.
Recognition of Prior Learning
RTOs are also able to offer Recognition of Prior Learning for work experience or formal qualifications you may have undertaken to shorten the time you have to study. Ask a course provider for more details during the enrolment process.
