The Master of Education, Leadership and Management testamur major is designed for emergent and experienced professional leaders in a range of educational organisations, locally and internationally. Subjects are drawn from the School of Education and the School of Business, providing professionals with comprehensive skills and knowledge to strategically foster teaching and learning, and effectively lead organisations in an ever-changing business climate. Students will apply their knowledge and skills to solve a real-world education business management problem through action-learning. There are no formal academic requirements

Applicants for admission into the Master of Education must have successfully completed either:

  • an undergraduate degree, or higher, in teaching/education (an undergraduate degree in teaching includes the historical 2-3 year Diploma of Teaching/Education prior to 1987); Or
  • undergraduate degree in any discipline and five years’ full time equivalent professional work experience in a field considered by the School to be appropriate to the study program and specialisation.

Applicants seeking admission on the basis of work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application.
