Perform Complex Four Wheel Drive Operations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Before attending this course, it is a requirement that participants have already completed the “Operate and maintain a 4WD Vehicle” course (or equivalent)and provide a copy of a valid RTO Certificate and have conducted a wide range of trips over an extended time (12 months) to gain advanced knowledge and experience within their vehicle’s capabilities over a range of difficult off-road terrain types as well as recovery operations.
The course covers the skills and knowledge needed to perform complex 4WD vehicle operations when negotiating steep and difficult terrain and water crossings as well as the skills and knowledge to identify, select and use a range of lines to maximise traction and reduce environmental impact.
