Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course provides you with the knowledge and training to shift materials safely using manual handling methods.
It includes assessing the risks associated with relocating the load, planning the relocation process and carrying out the relocation in accordance with the plan. It also covers how to comply with the relevant work health and safety (WHS)/occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations concerning the manual handling and movement of loads.
This course is suitable for anyone who has the need to move loads safely.
You can use these skills in your workplace but they also can apply to general situations in the home, and in community settings.
