This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This course is developed for existing workers in the industry who may require CPR training as recommended by the ARC.

This unit applies to a range of workers within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthma and anaphylactic emergencies. This includes early childhood workers and educators who work with school age children in outside school hours care and vacation programs.

Our excavator training course aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to operate excavator operations to lift, carry & place materials.

This unit of competency specifies the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work.

The unit requires the person to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others. It covers identifying and orally reporting common construction hazards, understanding basic risk control measures, and identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies.

It also covers correctly selecting and fitting common personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work.

This course covers the requirements for operating a gantry or overhead crane which is controlled by pendant or wireless remote.

Successfully completing this course will allow you to operate any gantry, bridge, jib or wall mounted crane with three (3) or less powered motions. Short/Cross travel is one motion; Long/Length travel is a second motion; and Hoist raise or Hoist lower is a third motion.

This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.

This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles.

The work required in this unit relates to the National Standard for High Risk Work but this unit does not provide the licence. This unit does not provide sufficient skill to independently load and unload equipment. To perform this activity safely, personnel must either complete or be assisted by someone who has completed RIIHAN308F Load and Unload Plant or equivalent.

This course is your basic one day confined space entry course to help your workers understand what constitutes a confined space as well as increased awareness and identify the hazards present, assess all risk and implement the proper precautions.

Our course aims to provide all the necessary skills and the knowledge needed to operates a skid steer loader to load, haul, as well as distribute materials. Steer training is relevant to operational roles in both infrastructure industries and civil construction and resources.

This course applies to anyone working in site-based or plant operations.

This unit specifies the outcomes required to operate a boom type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) for licensing purposes, and involves the operation of a telescoping device, hinged device or articulated device or any combination of these used to support a platform for which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated to perform work. The 11 metre boom length shall be taken to mean the greater of the following:

• a) The vertical distance form the floor of the platform to the surface supporting the elevating work platform with the platform at its maximum height; or
• b) The normal reach, measured horizontally from the centre point of rotation to the outer edge of the platform in its most extended position.

On successful completion of this course you will enhance your chance of employment in warehouse, construction or the rail industry as a elevating work platform operator.

Covering everything you’ll need to operate a non-remote bridge and gantry crane; this course equips you with the skills and knowledge required to complete activities when operating a bridge crane or gantry. This course covers use and activity from a permanent cabin or control station located on the crane itself OR use and activities controlled remotely with three (or more) powered operations.

Our slewing mobile crane course equips you with the professional skills to operate a slewing mobile crane of up to 20 tonnes. The course also covers the correct licence requirements you’ll need for non-slewing mobile and vehicle-loading cranes.

This unit describes the outcomes required to assist a person suffering an anaphylactic reaction until the arrival of medical assistance. Application of this unit relates to the use of adrenaline auto-injecting devices, (e.g. EpiPen®/Anapen®).

The unit covers the recognition, management, prevention and risk minimisation strategies related to allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. It provides the outcomes required to develop and implement a management plan to reduce the risk of severe reactions in individuals diagnosed with anaphylaxis.

This unit specifies the outcomes required to operate a Portal Boom crane mounted on a portal frame, which is supported on runways along which the crane may travel, for licencing purposes.

This unit is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and provides applicants with the knowledge and skills required to obtain a High Risk Licence to Operate a Portal Boom Crane (CP)
