To become a Nurse Educator you must complete a Bachelor of Nursing, then apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Once you’re a Registered Nurse (RN) you’ll need at least 5 years of professional nursing experience and a Graduate Diploma of Nursing (Clinical Education) or Master of Nurse Education. If you intend working for a registered Training Organisation (RTO) the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will also be helpful.
