Master of Science (Advanced Nursing Practice)

A Master of Science (Advanced Nursing Practice) can set you on the path to a specialist nursing career. This qualification will provide you with both the theoretical knowledge and the clinical skills so you can practice as a clinical nurse or a clinical nurse specialist. The course allows you to select from two majors so you can specialise your skills to suit your career goals. Choose from either the Child and Adolescent Health Nursing Major or the Critical Care Nursing Major.

The Master of Science (Advanced Nursing Practice) explores a range of topics relevant to a specialist nursing career. You’ll looked at subjects such as advanced nursing practices, evidence informed clinical practice, clinical management, research and evaluation in health and teaching and learning in the clinical context. Depending on your major, you’ll also examine topics based on nursing critically ill patients or caring for children and adolescents.
