The Certificate II in Introduction to Aged Care (52841WA) prepares you for work at nursing homes and aged care facilities. During 6 months of on-campus and on-the-job training you will learn the fundamentals of personal care work and gain a range of life-skills. The qualification is recognised by employers all over Australia and you’ll need to complete 100 hours of work placement to graduate. The covers: communication, first aid, CPR, safe lifting and patient transfer, infection controls, and personal safety.
