This qualification is for individuals seeking to work as engineers within the maritime or seafood industries. It provides the necessary skills to operate and maintain engines on commercial vessels. Upon completion, you will be eligible to serve as a Chief Engineer on vessels with propulsion power below 500kW. Additionally, you may act as a Second Engineer on vessels with propulsion power below 750kW. Both roles apply within the Australian Exclusive Economic Zone.
