The Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education (10752NAT) is for ATSI peoples wanting to become registered teachers or qualified teacher aides. This qualification will prepare you for a teaching career or enable you to work immediately as a teacher’s assistant. The course covers: cultural identity, directly supporting ATSI students in the classroom, student literacy, supporting maths and science learning, identifying children and young people at risk, and computer skills.
