If you’re passionate about education and literacy how about the Diploma of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education (10753NAT)? You’ll graduate a job-ready teacher’s aid and on a direct path to becoming a qualified school teacher. Over the course of 18 months you will be learning how to teach english, maths, science, digital technologies, community history and culture to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. Plus you’ll develop real world teaching skills as you complete 100 hours of work placement at an approved RATEP location.
