You'll undertake advanced subjects that build on your bachelor’s study and focus heavily on research methods and techniques. This knowledge will prepare you to complete a substantial research project – the major component of your honours program.
History major
Build on your ability to initiate an original inquiry, conduct archival research, analyse documents and interpret evidence.
You'll complete advanced-level coursework that provides the flexibility to choose a study stream most relevant to your honours research. You'll also learn about the method and theory of historical writing, historical arguments and the uses of historiography.
