Biomedical Engineering Major

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- Completed Diploma (AQF Level 5) AND
- Completed Year 12 (ATAR optional) with ATAR 79.15 or equivalent AND
- IELTS score of 6.50 or TOEFL iBT score of 79.00 or PTE score of 58.00 or its equivalent AND
- Assumed Knowledge: HSC Mathematics Extension 1; Physics; and English Standard. English Advanced is recommended.
For the Biomedical, Chemical Process, Civil, and Civil and Environmental Engineering majors, Chemistry is recommended. For the Software Engineering major, a sound knowledge of the fundamentals of programming is recommended. - Completed Diploma (AQF Level 5) or above or overseas qualification at the required level AND
- Completed Year 12 (ATAR optional) or equivalent AND
- IELTS score of 6.50 or TOEFL iBT score of 79.00 or PTE score of 58.00 or its equivalent AND
- Visa requirement: To obtain a student visa to study in Australia, international students must enrol full time and on campus. Australian student visa regulations also require international students studying on student visas to complete the course within the standard full-time duration. Students can extend their courses only in exceptional circumstances.
