In the Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse Pathway), you will gain clinical nursing experience, while learning to provide person-centred care in partnership with people across the life span and a variety of health care settings through face-to-face workshops and clinical sessions.
Alongside the clinical experience, you will study the requirements for the transition to the role of registered nurse, applied evidence based care and leadership and clinical governance in nursing. You will also undertake specialised subjects including mental healthcare in nursing, primary healthcare and First Nations Health.
At either the Frankston or Berwick campuses you can complete a La Trobe University Bachelor of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse Pathway). This qualification enables an endorsed enrolled nurse (with current AHPRA – Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority Registration) to become a registered nurse (RN).
