Certificate III in Agriculture
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Agriculture and Agribusiness are diverse sectors including both plant and animal-based production systems along with supporting Agribusiness enterprises that supply agriculture goods and services. Job roles within the sector range from farmhands, farm business managers and include numerous agricultural service roles. This sector is a leader in the uptake and development of new technologies and attracting investment on an international level. Australian producers have a reputation for green and safe agricultural products which provides a marketing advantage that must be retained. As a result, biosecurity will be an important issue as Australia develops its export trade in agricultural goods. There is an increased interest in the area of carbon farming for landowners especially in the area of Emissions Reduction Fund projects which are supported by the Clean Energy Regulator.
If you're keen to bring new skills to your family farm or enter one of the many areas in the multi-billion dollar agriculture industry, this certificate will teach you the skills and knowledge needed. You have a signed training agreement and are looking for a training plan tailored to suit your interest.
