The General Stream of the RII30920 Certificate III in Civil Construction covers a broad range of skills in varied work context including road and earthworks, excavation, site maintenance and traffic control as well as underground services and elevated work platforms. Working in the civil construction industry you will learn to work with machinery and equipment in a range of civil construction settings. This may range from preparation work on new housing or industrial estates, to working on local roads and freeways.

About City-Wide Building & Training Services
Founded in 2005, CWBTS offers nationally accredited qualifications for the building and construction industry. These include trades training through the apprenticeship and traineeship models as well as higher level training with building and construction and work health and safety. Training is delivered primarily in the apprentice’s workplace, using both their existing project tasks, as well as the use of our mobile training vehicles and our simulated trades training centres.
