The Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations provides participants with the skills to work as an operator within the civil construction industry.
Throughout this course, you will work with dozers, trucks and other plant to build new roads and bridges and key buildings within the region.
As part of this qualification, you will learn how to plan and organise specific work projects following worksite health and safety regulations. You will learn how to read and interpret plans and specifications, work at heights, operate a skid steer, excavator, front end loader and small plant and equipment. You will gain practical skills in hand and power tool operation and preparing, excavating, maintaining and disposing of waste on civil construction sites.
