Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification is designed for aspiring cooks who wish to develop a wide range of well-rounded cookery skills and a sound knowledge of kitchen operations.
Under limited supervision, you will learn how to prepare food and menu items using discretion and judgment, following plans, policies, and procedures.
Upon successful completion, you will be recognised as a trade cook, ready to work in various organisations such as restaurants, hotels, clubs, pubs, cafes, and coffee shops.
