Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade would prepare a person for selecting, adapting and transferring skills and knowledge to new environments and providing technical advice and some leadership in resolution of specified problems. This would be applied across a range of roles in a variety of contexts with some complexity in the extent and choice of options available.
Mechanical Trade includes employment in design, assembly, manufacture, installation, modification, testing, fault finding, commissioning, maintenance and service of all mechanical equipment, machinery, fluid power systems, diesel fitting, instruments and the use of related computer controlled equipment, e.g. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), computer controlled equipment and Computer Numeric Controlled machine tools etc.
