This is a program designed for a broad range of workers in the Horticulture sector wishing to expand commence a career in the Industry. This qualification is an ideal entry point to a range of career choices in the sector.
The program develops skills and knowledge in basic plant and horticulture systems, equipment necessary to support horticulture, and the treatment of weeds and pests likely to be found in the typical environment. In addition, time is spent on learning how to excel in a work environment, and how to follow general workplace procedure.
