Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive retail, service and repair industry. The purpose of this course is to prepare you to apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in the automotive retail, service and repair industry by performing a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles. Employees at this level use diagnosis procedures to determine faults, and service and repair the mechanical and electrical parts of motor vehicles such as engines, transmissions (clutch, gear box and differential), cooling, engine management and suspension systems.
