Certificate IV in Disability

The Certificate IV in Disability reflects the role of workers in a range of community settings and clients’ homes, who provide training and support in a manner that empowers people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and well-being. Workers promote a person-centred approach, work without direct supervision, and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.

A Certificate IV will provide you with the skills needed to promote a person-centred approach, work with or without direct supervision, and the potential to supervise and/or coordinate a small team. Become a positive impact on the lives of people living with a disability by supporting their needs with a hands-on approach. We will provide you with the theory and practical skills to assist people in reaching their individual goals and develop independence through a person-centred approach.
