HLT42015 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy

The HLT42015 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy will provide you with a solid foundation in relaxation massage theory and practice. You will learn anatomy and physiology, first aid, clinic management skills, and plenty of skills and techniques such as a full-body Swedish massage sequence, Thai massage, Sports massage, Seated massage, Pregnancy, and Special Needs Massage techniques.

This massage therapy course will give you the opportunity to treat the soft tissue of the body, to help clients achieve improved circulation, pain relief, reduced stress and anxiety, assisted recovery from injury, aid sleep and relaxation, and enhanced flexibility. A massage can have an enormous positive impact on a person’s musculoskeletal health and general wellbeing so as a therapist, you can take pride in being able to help others.

If your goal is to treat friends, family or members of your local community from a small at-home or mobile massage clinic, then the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy could be the right course for you. If you are a qualified Beauty Therapist or Personal Trainer who is looking to learn additional skills in a related field, then this course could also be for you.
